Landtmeters Naval Stores Group is a household name in the maritime world. Since 1830, they have supplied everything that sails: from superyachts to offshore industry, and from navy to inland shipping. They reached out to us, because their online presence was due for renewal.

With multiple divisions (such as Yachting, Industry, and the iconic flag-making division), the digital landscape had become fragmented. Landtmeters asked Zalm Partners to get the digital fleet back on one course.

The Challenge: Order within diversity

Landtmeters is not one company, but a group of specialists. The customer looking for a custom-made flag (Bandera) has very different needs than the buyer sourcing industrial ship materials. The old website didn’t reflect this structure clearly enough. It was unclear where one division ended and the next began. On top of that, the visual identity no longer matched the high-end quality they deliver.

The assignment had two parts:

  • Unification: Build one powerful “Main Website” that functions as an overarching hub for all divisions.
  • Experience: Translate the tactile quality of the products (the craftsmanship) onto a screen.

The Approach: Visual storytelling & structure

With a company that has such a rich history, you don’t want to “flatten” everything. You want to showcase it.

  • Clear Architecture: We rebuilt the website with a clear “House of Brands” structure. Each division (including Yachting, Industry, Safety) now has its own prominent place, without visitors losing their way. The navigation is designed so both private sailors and business buyers immediately find what they’re looking for.
  • Content Production (Video & Photography): Maritime products spark imagination. That’s why we invested heavily in visuals. We guided professional video and photography sessions to capture Landtmeters’ craftsmanship and scale. Visitors can now see the quality of the ropes, the size of the warehouses, and the fine details of the flags.
  • Modernization: The look and feel was fully brought up to date. Clean, responsive, and maritime in character, but modern in execution.

The Result

A digital flagship is now in place that does justice to Landtmeters’ stature.

  • Brand Experience: The new website breathes professionalism and history, while still feeling fresh and current.
  • Clarity: Customers now understand the full breadth of services at a glance.
  • Engagement: Thanks to video, visitors stay longer and Landtmeters’ story is truly told.

Does your company have a rich history but an outdated website? Modernizing established names is a craft in itself. You want to evolve without losing your identity.
