Our Story
Zalm Partners is a digital agency from Rotterdam with a single specialism: making sure a company gets found in the age of AI. Not only at the top of Google, but named and cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google AI Overviews, on a website built to make that possible.
Our story began before the agency did. Founders Just Goossens and Dries Dederen built websites for family, friends and local businesses before there was a name on the door. In 2024 that became Zalm Partners, and today we are a studio of developers, designers and strategists. And most of our very first clients are still with us today.
Somewhere along the way, search changed. Where people used to click a Google result, they now ask an AI a question and get a single answer with a handful of names in it. We saw what that meant for our clients and, as one of the first studios, focused on it right away: we are on the cusp of a huge shift in organic growth. Today several of them rank first in their market, measured across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, and only on questions that do not contain their own brand name.
We are entrepreneurs ourselves
Alongside client work we build and scale our own projects.
That changes how we look at a project. We think beyond code and design, because we know what it takes to grow a business ourselves. And it is why we find technical problems others miss. We made and fixed those mistakes ourselves, on our own platforms, before a client ever paid for them.
