What paid growth is
Paid growth is buying visibility in the places where your ideal customer looks around: in search engines and, more recently, in AI answers.
It is not a stopgap to catch a peak, but a way to make structural headway. Alongside your organic visibility, not instead of it.
Where someone is actively searching
There are plenty of channels you can advertise on, and they do not all do the same thing. We focus mainly on the places where someone asks a question, because that is where intent is highest. And there are now more of those than just the search results.
Google Ads
Still the place where the bulk of commercial searches come in. Whoever shows up here at the moment someone asks a concrete question arrives at the moment of decision.
ChatGPT Ads
Ads in AI answers are new. Bidding is not on keywords but on the context of the conversation, which means that knowing which questions your audience puts to AI is the planning material. While the field is still taking shape, there is ground to gain that will cost more later.
Ads in Google AI
These are on their way: Google is bringing ads to AI Overviews and AI Mode. We are preparing for it now. For our clients we continuously collect data on how language models answer their market and which questions people arrive with, so we can move the moment it becomes available.
Beyond that, we advertise on other channels when your audience is there. What we do not do is roll out a standard package of channels because that is what is customary.
Advertising with the data from the measurements
The return on paid traffic stands or falls on whether you know what your audience is looking for and how they talk about it. Most advertisers work on assumptions and keyword lists. For ads in AI answers that no longer works anyway: bidding there is on the context of the conversation, so a keyword list loses its purpose.
We collect that information. In the measurement we record which questions your ideal customer asks, in their own words, which arguments are decisive in your market, and which objections get raised against you. We build the ads on that: the message matches the question as it is asked and removes objections before they reach the table. In our own programmes, ads built this way demonstrably outperform ads built on assumptions.
Those insights are not limited to AI. They are just as useful in your Google campaigns: you know which words your audience uses, which question sits behind them, and where they drop off.
One measurement improves everything you advertise on.
What we do
Decide where it pays
The measurement shows which topics you are already found on and which you are not. That is where the budget goes: the questions you are missing from today, or where a competitor holds the position you want.
Build ads on the measurement data
The message follows from the questions, arguments and objections that come out of the measurements. Not from a keyword list.
Take the landing page along
An ad is only as good as the page it leads to. If that page does not match, you pay for visitors who leave straight away.
Steer on what it delivers
Not on clicks or impressions, but on what happens next: enquiries, conversations, customers.
Feed it back into the rest
What resonates in ads is directly usable in your content and your positioning. And the other way round.
Paid only works together with organic
In an AI answer, the ad sits below the answer. If you are not named in that answer while a competitor is, you are paying to sit below their recommendation. The same principle applies in search engines: your ad does better when the organic picture around it is right.
We measure both, and that is precisely why we can say where it pays to buy presence and where it is cheaper to repair the organic answer.
Paid and organic are not alternatives but two sides of the same visibility.
Part of a bigger whole
Paid growth is one of the methods we use. Where we advertise, and with which message, follows from the measurement and the strategy.
That prevents the most common mistake: spending budget on topics you are already found on, or on questions that are hardly ever asked in your market.
Frequently asked questions
Why mainly Google and ChatGPT?
Because that is where intent is highest. Someone who asks a question is actively searching. That produces a different kind of visitor from someone who stumbles across an ad while doing something else.
Should we advertise if we are already easy to find organically?
On those specific topics, often not. Advertising pays most where you do not rank organically yet, or where the competition is so heavy that building up organically takes a long time.
What happens when we stop?
Then the visibility from ads stops. What remains is what you learned along the way about which messages work, and that is directly usable in your content.
Should we advertise first, or get the organic answer in order first?
Preferably together, because the organic answer sits above your ad. It differs per topic: where the organic picture is already right, advertising strengthens your position. Where it is not, advertising buys time while we repair the answer. The measurement shows which case you are in.
How do we know whether it is profitable?
We steer on what happens after the click, not on the clicks themselves. What an enquiry may cost, we agree up front.
How do ads in AI answers work?
That differs per platform, and the field is changing fast. On ChatGPT, bidding is on the context of the conversation rather than on keywords. On Google, ads in AI Overviews and AI Mode come out of existing campaign types, so how your account is set up determines whether you qualify. We follow both closely and deploy what makes sense for your market.
