Frequently asked questions
What is Web Intelligence?
Web Intelligence means measuring what is said about a company online and what its customers actually see, in search engines and in AI answers. We then decide what needs to change, do the work and measure whether each change made a difference. Read how it works.
What exactly does Insight measure?
Insight measures what your ideal customer sees at the moment they search: which companies get named, what is said about you and whether it is accurate, and which sources shape that picture. Per model, per stage of the customer journey, daily for at least two weeks. More about Insight.
Which AI models and search engines do you measure?
The ones your customers put their questions to: the major AI assistants, AI answers in Google and the classic search results. We settle on the exact set in the discovery call, based on your market and your customers.
Why not just check for myself?
Because one question, asked once, of one model tells you nothing. Answers vary by model, by day and by how the question is phrased. A measurement that means something is independent, repeated and covers the whole customer journey. That is exactly what Insight does.
What does it cost?
Insight is a scoped first step with a fixed remit; the cycle that follows (Strategy, Execution, Verification) depends on what the measurement shows. We discuss what it costs in your situation in the discovery call, based on the measurement rather than on an assumption.
What happens in a discovery call?
An hour, at our office in Rotterdam or online. We talk through what is going on, who your ideal customer is and which competitors matter. We look at your website and at what turns up about you online beforehand, so the conversation is concrete from the start. Book a discovery call.
Do I have to continue with you after Insight?
No. Insight is a service in its own right: you get the measurement and the conclusions, and can act on them yourself or with another agency. Most clients do go on to the cycle, because we already know the measurement and can verify what each change delivered.
How do the methods relate to Web Intelligence?
The methods (AI Search, SEO, technical, content, programmatic content, PR, citations, paid growth, web development, conversion) are the toolkit of the Execution step. Which method gets used follows from the strategy, not the other way round. All methods.
How do I know it is working?
Verification measures each change against the baseline from before it: on which models it moved, in what share of measurements, and whether a bottleneck is really gone or has only shifted. So instead of one report, you see the effect of every single intervention. More about Verification.
Do you still build websites?
Yes. A site a machine can read correctly is often the first intervention to come out of the measurement. We build custom sites, Webflow and Shopify, and take over existing sites. More about web development.
Does this work for a small company too?
Yes. In smaller markets especially, the picture an AI holds of a company is often empty or shaped by one or two sources. A focused measurement then quickly shows which intervention makes the biggest difference.
Where are you based and who do you work for?
We are based in Rotterdam and work for companies in the Netherlands and Belgium, from local specialists to organisations with several brands. Most of the work happens online; the conversation we prefer to have in person.
