From self-built to growth-ready

You built a site yourself. It is up, it looks good, and still nothing happens. We look at what lies underneath.

50+ leading companies work with us

A self-built site usually brings nothing in because it was built to exist, not to be found: the design is fine, but the layer underneath (technology, structure, ownership of the content) was never set up for growth. With Lovable, Wix, Squarespace or a template you go live fast. What you see is the design; what decides whether Google and AI models find you sits underneath it.

This is not: your site is bad. Often it was exactly good enough to start with, and that was smart: you tested whether the idea worked before spending money on it. So we do not start over. We keep what works, often the entire look, and replace the foundation. How we do that is described under web development.

First the check: does it perform, is it found, and is it yours?

Three questions, in that order. Does the site perform technically: load time on a phone, errors, pages a crawler never reaches. Can it be found: what do Google and AI models see when they read the site, and does that match what you actually do. And the question almost nobody asks: do you own everything in it? Domain, hosting, the accounts your content and tracking scripts run on.

We also search the codebase for hidden links and credits left by the previous builder. It is a check nobody requests and everybody should run. What comes out is a concrete overview, including when the answer is that little is wrong.

The rebuild: same face, different engine

We usually build in Next.js and React, with the appearance deliberately identical. You should recognise your own site. What changes sits under the bonnet: server-side rendering, a clean structure, structured data and a content layer you can update yourself.

At Endura Coaching the design stayed exactly as it was. Underneath it, 43 redundant components disappeared, and the site moved to a health score of 98 percent and a PageSpeed of 89 on mobile and 98 on desktop.

Ready for how people search now

A growing share of the questions about a business is no longer typed into Google but asked of an AI model. That model reads your site like a machine: it needs server-side rendered pages, structured data, a robots file that lets AI crawlers in, an llms.txt, and a summary per page that a language model can pick up.

We build that in as standard. After that the site is not just a shop window for visitors but a source a machine can read correctly. What the models then say about you is something we measure in Insight: the first step of Web Intelligence.

What we see that others miss

  • Orphan pages hanging off nothing. Pages with no internal link, so a crawler never reaches them.
  • Sitemaps that are wrong or point at dead pages, leaving half the site invisible.
  • Localisation that is not in order. Languages running into each other or missing hreflang, so Google and language models cannot tell which version to show to whom.
  • No access to your own content. Copy locked into the build instead of a database you can update yourself.
  • External dependencies you know nothing about. Content or tracking scripts running on someone else's accounts. If those disappear, the site falls over.

Frequently asked questions

Does my site have to look different?

Not if you do not want it to. We can keep the current design, as we did at Endura, where the appearance stayed identical. If you do want improvements, we rework buttons and sections to lift conversion, each change measured so you can see what works.

How do I know whether I need this?

Book a call and we will look together at what sits underneath the site. If nothing substantial comes out of it, we say so plainly, rather than talking you into a project.

Can I manage it myself afterwards?

Yes. We set it up so you publish yourself, and we show you how. Your content lives in a database that belongs to you, not inside the build.

What if the site is on Wix or Squarespace and I want to stay there?

Then it still starts with the check. Part of what we find can be fixed inside the platform; for the rest we show you the difference and what a rebuild would bring. The choice stays with you.

Are you sure you own your own site?

A check on three things: does your site perform technically, can it be found in Google and AI, and is everything in it on your own accounts. You get a concrete overview, including when the answer is that little is wrong.
